National Conference on Technical Textiles

Textile industry is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy. In order to strengthen the backbone, it is necessary to develop strong collaboration among researchers, industrialists and policy makers. Conventional textiles are transforming fast into technical textiles and advancements in textile engineering are expanding enormously due to technological importance and the needs of the community. A national conference on Technical Textiles is being organized to discuss and share modern cutting-edge techniques and state of the art technologies in textile engineering.

The conference will focus on the interchange of research ideas and results through keynotes, oral presentations, poster sessions and panel discussion.
The conference will create a positive and favourable image of Textile universities in the eyes of owner’s community i.e. The Universities are fully capable of developing innovative textile products for domestic market as well as for rest of the world.

The conference will expedite the process of technology revolution in Pakistan by motivating both academia and industry to acquire, promote and utilize state-of-art technologies for the rapid development of innovative textile products.
