Nasir Ali Saim
Mr. Nasir Ali is lecturer English at National Textile University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Presently, he is working as coordinator Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and coordinating visiting facility of the department as well. His areas of research interests are Pakistani English, Corpus Linguistics and teaching interests are English Grammar and Technical Writing. He is advisor NTU Newsletters and a member of the advisory boards of Kavish and Textec. He has three publications.
He has his masters in English Literature (2007) from GCU Faisalabad, Pakistan and got his degree of MPhil Applied Linguistics from the very University in 2011. He worked on Pakistani English in his final thesis of MPhil.
He is working at NTU for the last 6 years and he had an opportunity to work on revising the course contents of Functional English, Communications Skills and Technical Writing. Besides teaching, his focus is on boosting students’ confidence and building their character.
