Dr. Muhammad Tahir Saddique is working as Assistant Professor of Chemistry, HEC approved PhD supervisor, at the National Textile University, Faisalabad. He is also performing additional responsibility as coordinator in the subject of chemistry at National Textile University, Faisalabad. He has published numerous research papers in peer reviewed international science journals of Springer, American Chemical Society (ACS), Elsevier, Taylor & Francis and other renowned publishers. He has presented his research work at several national and international conferences throughout the last decade. He is honorary referee of some international science journals. His doctoral research work dealt with the sorption properties of nickel oxide.

One HEC funded project is under progress. He has established a Physical Chemistry Research Laboratory (PCRL) in the National Textile University, Faisalabad with state-of-the-art research facilities and expertise. His group is active collaboration with the other institutes of the region and with the faculty members of other departments of the university. He is supervising some researchers, postgraduate research. His research group has developed chitosan based novel biosorbents and determines their PZC and adsorption kinetics and so on. He has won three times, Research Productivity Award (RPA) from the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology and also a lifetime member of chemical society of Pakistan.
