Polymer Composites: Testing and their evaluation

The structure and property relationships of a composite helps to suggest the potential applications of a composite material. This training is designed to provide an insight into the testing methods employed for the testing of composite materials and their evaluation. The mechanical testing of composites including tensile, flexural, impact and shear will be covered in it. The performance against dynamic/cyclic loading will also be a part of the mechanical testing techniques. Thermal testing techniques including Dynamic Mechanical Analysis, Dilatometer, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Thermomechanical analyses and Thermal Conductivity will also be explained to the participants.

Participants must complete the online registration form on the CCPD website (Given Below) after selecting the training or course they want to attend. Make sure your CNIC information is accurate before beginning the registration procedure. Your enrollment may be canceled at any time for providing incorrect information during the registration process, and participants will not be eligible to request a refund.

You can move on to the payment area once you have finished the online registration process for the course you choose. You can pay with a cross-cheque or send money online using an IBAN. Within 24 to 48 business hours of making your payment, you will get a call and an email confirmation.

PKR :25000/-

A course may be canceled or delayed by CCPD if there are insufficient registrations or unavoidable emergencies arise. In this situation, the institution will reimburse the registration fee but will not cover any further costs.

Instructor Information

Dr. Yasir Nawab
Associate Professor / Dean SET

Dr. Yasir Nawab is an Associate Professor at the National Textile University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Currently, he is working as Director (Dean) School of Engineering & Technology, and leading the Textile Composite Materials Research Group. His research areas are Composite Materials, Technical Textiles, 2D & 3D fabrics and Finite element analysis. He is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, 5 books/book chapters and over 35 conference communications. He is the founding Director of National Center for Composite Materials.

Dr. Khubab Shakir
Associate Professor / Chairman

He got his doctoral degree from National Textile University in 2018. The focus of his research was the fabrication of particle loaded fiber reinforced polymer composites using liqiuid composite molding process. He has published more than 50 research articles in impact factor journals, and edited 2 books with international publishers. He is currently working as Assistant professor/Chairman in the Department of Materials. His research areas include Composite Materials, Functional Composites, Green composites, Residual stresses, Fluid flow, Woven reinfrocements, 3D shaped/multilayedred structures, Auxetic materials and Finite element analysis. His industrial and teaching career spans over 11 years.
