This intensive training short course is organized for the benefit of all those who are engaged in the
manufacture, research and development as well as the commercial aspects of textile business. The
course will cover the fibers, yarns and fabrics used in textile products for apparel, processing of fabrics,
household and technical textiles applications as core modules. The different types of physical, chemical,
mechanical and comfort related testing from fiber to finished product will also be covered during the
course along with general understanding of the results. There will be hands on workshops for different
process for thorough understanding. The course will also cover recent trends related to environment
and sustainability especially international standards and eco-innovation.
- Fibers (Natural, Regenerated and Synthetic): their production, properties, current trends in fiber utilization and areas of application.
- Yarns; Production Techniques (Synthetic and Natural), properties, current and future trends in spinning and areas of application.
- Weaving: Yarn preparation, fabric production, calculations, fabric structure, inspection of fabric, fabric properties and areas
- of application.
- Warp and weft knitting: Yarn Preparations, Calculations, Fabric production, inspection of fabric, fabric structure, fabric properties and areas of application.
- Nonwoven Fabrics: Classification, web formation, wet-laid, dry-laid and polymer-laid fabric production, fabric properties, current and future trends in non-woven technology and areas of application.
- Dyeing & Finishing: Preparatory processes for different type of materials, dyeing, principles of coloration, green finishes, inspection of fabric and current and future practices of textiles wet processing.
- Fabric Testing & Analysis: Complete testing of Fiber, yarn and fabric with understanding and interpretation of results.
- Garments Manufacturing: Pattern and marker making, Garment Testing & Quality Management
- Textile Recycling, Sustainability
- Technical and Functional Textiles: Protective textiles, bioactive textiles, nanotechnology, medical textiles
Participants must complete the online registration form on the CCPD website (Given Below) after selecting the training or course they want to attend. Make sure your CNIC information is accurate before beginning the registration procedure. Your enrollment may be canceled at any time for providing incorrect information during the registration process, and participants will not be eligible to request a refund.
You can move on to the payment area once you have finished the online registration process for the course you choose. You can pay with a cross-cheque or send money online using an IBAN. Within 24 to 48 business hours of making your payment, you will get a call and an email confirmation.

A course may be canceled or delayed by CCPD if there are insufficient registrations or unavoidable emergencies arise. In this situation, the institution will reimburse the registration fee but will not cover any further costs.
