Dr. Muhammad Zia-ur-Rehman is Assistant Professor in the faculty of Management Sciences. Currently, He is working as Head of Finance Cluster, coordinatior Undergarduate Programs and convener Business Research and Development Society. Dr. Muhammad Zia-ur-Rehman has earned his Doctorate Degree in Management Sciences (Finance) from International Islamic University, Islamabad. His main research areas are International Finance, Behavioral Corporate Finance, Micro Structure of Stock Markets & Corporate Performance and Business Analytics & Efficiencies.

Dr. Muhammad Zia-ur-Rehman has been a scholastic researcher whose valuable publications have contributed exceptionally in the discipline of Business and Finance. His scholarly peer-reviewed articles, approximately, 33 have been published in the top Journals e.g. Quality & Quantity, Industria Textila, Journal of Managerial Sciences, NICE Research Journal, Materials Science, Journal of Industrial Engineering and Management, Cogent Economics & Finance, Pakistan Journal of Science, Theoretical Economics Letters, International Journal of Information, Business and Management, International Journal of Accounting and Financial Reporting, Business Management Dynamics, Amazonia Investiga, Actual Problems of Economics etc.

His academic profile is remarkable with participation in the exclusive number of International Conferences and Seminars. He has also received the “BEST PAPER AWARD” in 2017 from the University Brunei Darussalam.  Dr. Muhammad Zia-ur-Rehman has experience of approximately 9 years as a Lecturer, Trainer, Researcher and Financial Consultant at National Textile University, Faisalabad, International Islamic university, Islamabad and other organizations. He is an active contender for the enhancement of capacity-building of the students of the public sector university by monitoring and evaluating multifarious research projects. More than Twenty (20) MS, MBA or BBA students have completed their final thesis or projects under his supervision, as a mandatory part of their degree programs.

He is an eminent scholar and researcher, having experience of conducting numerous training sessions or seminars, regarding Advanced Research Methods, Data Analysis Techniques and Business Analytics & efficiencies. He is pioneer in launching the latest concept of Corporate Behavioral Finance in Pakistan through his PhD research work. He received funding from prestigious research programs of HEC e.g. NRPU, Thematic Research Grant program, and ORIC SRSP amounted of 7.7 Millon. 

Dr. Muhammad Zia-ur-Rehman’s specialized areas of teaching in the Discipline of Finance, are the Strategic corporate Finance, Security Analysis & portfolio management, International Financial Management and Behavioral Finance. The advance courses i.e. Issues in Financial Reporting, Financial Derivatives and Financial Engineering are also on his profile as teacher.
