NTU-BIC was delighted to host Khushdil Khan - Monitoring Officer from Small & Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) at the center. He briefed the incubatees about “1000-Industrial Stitching Units-(ISUs)” which is a Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP)  implemented by the SMEDA & sponsored by the Ministry of Industry & Production (MoI&P).

The aim of this project is value addition to the textile sector by providing financial assistance through matching grants to startups & existing small & medium enterprises (SMEs) with adequate experience in the field of garments/textile related manufacturing for the establishment of Industrial Stitching Units across the country.

Under this project, 60% cost (non-refundable) of industrial stitching will be provided whereas 40% cost will be borne by the applicant.
