The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) at NTU Karachi Campus successfully organized an interactive workshop on "Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights" on November 27, 2024. The session was conducted by Ms. Zubia Hassan, Senior Examiner of Patents and Designs, who provided faculty members with valuable insights into patents, copyrights, trademarks, and design protection.

This workshop is part of ORIC's ongoing initiative to enhance intellectual property awareness among researchers and faculty. Future sessions will focus on Industrial Design Protection, Patent Drafting & Filing, and Trademarks & Copyrights.

At the end of the session, in recognition of her valuable contribution, Director Campus, Prof. Dr. Khalid Pasha presented a token of appreciation to Ms. Zubia Hassan on behalf of NTU Karachi Campus.
