National Textile University Karachi Campus Students Explore Innovation at Textile Asia 2025

On April 14, 2025, students from the National Textile University, Karachi Campus, visited the 29th edition of Textile Asia 2025 held at Expo Center Karachi. The study tour, led by faculty members Mr. Muneeb Shafqat, Mr. Mohsin Ali, Miss Maira Ayaz, Ms. Safoora Zubair, and Ms. Aliza Shah, offered students direct exposure to emerging textile technologies and market trends.

The aim of this visit was to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world industrial practices, providing students a firsthand look at advanced textile machinery, sustainable innovations, and automation processes shaping the global textile industry. The exposure also fostered industry-academia interaction, encouraging students to envision career opportunities while understanding contemporary demands in textiles and fashion.

Textile Asia, being the largest textile exhibition in the region, proved to be the ideal platform for future textile professionals to learn, network, and gain inspiration. Such initiatives at NTU Karachi Campus align with the university's mission of producing industry-ready graduates equipped with both theoretical expertise and practical insight.
