Karachi, December 2024 — National Textile University (NTU) Karachi Campus played an active role in the 21st International Conference on Statistical Sciences (ICSS), held from December 9–11, 2024, in Karachi.

As part of the conference, NTU Karachi Campus hosted a pre-conference workshop on “Power BI in AI for Textile Management” on December 5, led by expert Mr. Salman. The session equipped participants with practical skills in data analytics and AI applications for the textile industry.

The initiative was led by Dr. Danish Hassan, Assistant Professor at NTU Karachi Campus, who also served on the ICSS organizing committee. In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Hassan was awarded a certificate of participation during the main conference.

Co-hosted by Dow University of Health Sciences and Baqai Medical University, ICSS focused on data science and big data’s role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). NTU Karachi’s involvement reflects its growing commitment to interdisciplinary research and innovation in data-driven textile solutions.
