QEC Karachi Campus arranged online course “Outcome Based Education (OBE) & Academic Quality Assurance” for the faculty. The main objective of this teachers training course is to improve teaching and learning strategies/methodologies to achieve quality in learning outcomes. The course was organized by Udemy, Inc. an American massive open online course provider. The instructor of the course was Dr. Kamran Moosa, Practicing Professional, Author and Academician and CEO of PIQC Institute of Quality. Total duration of the course was 09 hours having 20 sections and 126 lectures. The learning outcomes of the course are:

1. Understand and learn the fundamentals of Academic Quality, Quality Assurance and Outcome Based Education.
2. Learn with examples how successfully institutions apply Quality Assurance and Outcome Based Education in their institutions.
3. Identify differences between the Teacher-centered and Student-centered Education.
4. Understand and analyse different learning theories and Taxonomies so that you can assess your own style of teaching and can improve upon it.
5. Learn some good practices of Academic Quality Assurance and Outcome Based Education.
6. Finally, identify any gaps of your own Academic Quality or your institution's Academic Quality and how to further improve upon it.

Six faculty members from Department of Textile & Clothing and Department of Polymer Engineering (Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan, Dr. Umair Azhar, Dr. Arsalan Ahmed, Engr. Umair Alam, Engr. Muhammad Usman, Engr. Muhammad Haroon Shoukat and Deputy Director QEC (Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Shaikh) successfully completed the course in the month of January, 2021 and received certificates.
