On May 14, 2024, the National Textile University (NTU) Karachi Campus organized an insightful session titled "Threads of Success: Navigating Entrepreneurship and Future Careers in Fashion and Textiles". The session managed by Miss Hina Zehra (Lecturer Fashion Design) featured guest speaker Miss Naeema Sajid, an accomplished Entrepreneur, Textile designer, and Lecturer at the Institute of Art and Design, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.

The session aimed to equip students with essential knowledge about entrepreneurship and the fashion business, providing a vital link between academic studies and practical industry experience. She shared her extensive expertise, offering students unique insights into the dynamic world of textile design and business management.

Her comprehensive lecture covered various aspects of starting and sustaining a business in the fashion industry, including the initial design process, market strategies, and business growth. Additionally, she provided guidance on future career opportunities in the fashion and textile industry, emphasizing the skills and competencies needed to thrive in this field. Students expressed their appreciation for the practical advice and inspirational stories shared by Miss Naeema, which highlighted both the challenges and opportunities in the industry.

At the conclusion of the event, a certificate of appreciation from NTU-Karachi Campus was awarded to Miss Naeema Sajid in recognition of her valuable contribution to the session and her efforts to inspire the current students i.e. next generation of textile professionals.
