Women in Islam - an Interactive Session organized at National Textile University Karachi Campus

On May 9, 2024, an interactive session of the renowned “Al Emaan Institute” was held at the National Textile University Karachi Campus, featuring Dr. Zehra Shahzaib, an Islamic Life Coach and MBBS graduate of Ziauddin University. Dr. Zehra, who completed her house job at AKUH and has over a decade of experience teaching tafseer and hadith, delivered a speech on "Women in Islam."

Dr. Zehra emphasized that women are created with profound love by Allah and hold a unique status and reverence. She highlighted that women should not compare themselves to others but recognize their inherent magnificence and distinct purpose as crafted by Allah. A woman's dignity and integrity are paramount, and she should avoid actions that displease Allah, instead engaging in deeds that elevate her faith and bring her closer to divine pleasure. She further added that the ultimate success for a woman lies in complete and exclusive devotion to Allah.

At the end of the session, the National Textile University-Karachi Campus awarded a certificate to Dr. Zehra as a token of appreciation for her time and efforts in sharing with students the Islamic and cultural values focusing females, especially students.
