On May 15, 2024, students from Govt. Allama Iqbal College visited the National Textile University (NTU) Karachi Campus. The objective of the visit was to provide college students with exposure to life at NTU-KC, demonstrating how university life shapes both academic and social development.
The visiting group comprised students from diverse backgrounds, including Pre-Medical, Computer Science, and Pre-Engineering, from both the first and second years. During the visit, students explored the various facilities at NTU, including laboratories, the library, student society affairs, and potential career paths. NTU students interacted with the college visitors, sharing their experiences and offering guidance on career paths and the future scope of the textile sector.
This visit was organized by Mr. Mohsin Ali and Mr. Muneeb Shafqat, both lecturers at NTU-KC. The rest of the faculty, including Mr. Abid (Lecturer), Dr. Danish Hassan (Assistant Professor), and Dr. Arsalan Ahmed (Head of the Department of Textile and Clothing), were present to assist the students throughout the visit.
