Lessons from Islamic History for Our Future – An online webinar organized by National Textile University Karachi Campus


On May 17, 2024, an online webinar was held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (UK time) featuring Mr. Usman Abdullah Malik as the keynote speaker. Mr. Malik, the CEO of Al-Dinar, is an esteemed Islamic finance executive, lecturer, and philanthropist based in the UK, known for his vision to revive the legacy of Islam.

The session, titled “Lessons from Islamic History for Our Future,” was organized by the National Textile University Karachi Campus Student Society’s Club Quran-o-Sunnah in collaboration with the Let’s Rise and Shine Organization, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to providing counseling and charity to university students.

In his speech, Mr. Malik emphasized the pivotal role of education and charitable acts in fostering a progressive society. He encouraged participants to engage in lifelong learning and actively support charitable initiatives.

The webinar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, during which attendees discussed the application of historical lessons to contemporary contexts. Mr. Malik offered insightful and inspiring responses, providing practical steps for individuals and organizations to integrate these lessons into their own lives and communities.
