NTU Karachi Campus’s final-year students and faculty members actively participated in the Pak Water & Energy Expo 2024, held on 3rd December 2024 at the Expo Centre Karachi. The event provided an excellent opportunity for students and faculty to explore the latest industry innovations, network with professionals, and gain insights into sustainable practices in the water and energy sectors.
A standout feature of the event was the workshop titled "Re-inventing the Textile Circular Economy", which focused on innovative approaches to integrating circular economy models within the textile industry. Participants included faculty members from NTU Karachi Campus: Dr. Arsalan Ahmed, Dr. Danish Hassan, Engr. Haroon Shoukat, and Engr. Muneeb Shafqat.
The session proved to be highly engaging, offering valuable knowledge on incorporating sustainability and efficiency in textile processes, aligning with global trends and the EU's circular economy goals.
Inclusive, the expo proved to be an enriching experience, deepening participants’ understanding of the key challenges and opportunities in the water, energy, and textile sectors, and enhancing their awareness of sustainable practices.
