The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of the National Textile University (NTU), Karachi Campus successfully completed the Self-Assessment (SA) process for the BS Computer Science
(BSCS-Cycle I) program on June 29, 2026.

The Assessment Team (AT) comprised of Dr. Shariq Mahmood Khan, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, served as an external evaluator, and Dr. Toqeer Mahmood, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, National Textile University, Faisalabad.

The assessment team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the program based on HEC's prescribed PREE Self-Assessment criteria. Following the review, the assessment team shared its observations and recommendations during the exit meeting with Prof. Dr. Khalid Pasha, Director, NTU, Karachi Campus, Dr. Rehan Ashraf, Chairman, Department of Computer Science. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Shaikh, Deputy Director, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC).

The successful completion of the self-assessment process reflects NTU Karachi Campus's commitment to maintaining academic excellence, strengthening quality assurance practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in higher education.
