Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Karachi Campus successfully conducted Self-Review of the MS Textile and Apparel Program on June 08, 2026, as part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing academic quality in line with institutional quality assurance standards.
The Self-Review Panel comprised Prof. Dr. Khalid Pasha, Director, Karachi Campus (Convener); Dr. Muhammad Asim Iqbal, Assistant Professor (Member); and Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Shaikh, Assistant Professor (Member).
During the review session, Dr. Muhammad Ayyoob, Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Department of Textile and Clothing, along with Dr. Arsalan Ahmed, Assistant Professor and MS Program Coordinator, presented the program portfolio and relevant academic and administrative documents. The panel members discussed various aspects of the program, including curriculum implementation, faculty qualifications, student support services, research activities, learning resources, assessment practices, and quality assurance mechanisms.
The panel members conducted a comprehensive review of the submitted documents and supporting evidence. They also engaged in detailed discussions with the Chairman and the Program Coordinator regarding the program's academic and physical facilities, strengths, challenges, and areas requiring further improvement. The panel provided constructive feedback and valuable recommendations aimed at enhancing the overall quality of the MS Textile and Apparel Program and ensuring its continued compliance with national quality assurance standards and academic best practices.
The successful completion of the Self-Review demonstrates the institution's strong commitment to continuous quality enhancement, academic excellence, and the promotion of a culture of self-assessment and continuous improvement.
