NTU Society of Nature and Environmental Sustainability is an organization devoted to the study of nature and environment and their sustainability. Such organizations may be local, regional, national, or international.
Aim
To recognize and support excellence achieved in scientific research and development in the field of Environmental sustainability by inter-disciplinary teams, recognized institutions, learned societies and industry.
Objectives
Following are the objectives of NTU Society of Nature and Environmental Sustainability:
- Awareness about environmental safety
- Promotion of circulation of plantation information
- Saving environment through introducing horticultural activities
- Engaging youth and others in the study of nature via holding exhibitions and awarding premiums
- Introduction of new methods and styling of gardening
- Holding meetings for instruction and discussions on subjects connected with the theory and practice of Environmental Sustainability
- Restoring nature relationships in university
- Planting for future
- Promote the educational and training opportunities and encourage the development of all disciplines within Environmental Sustainability
- One of the main leisure pursuits – gardening
- To promote the profession of Environmental Sustainability and the professionalism of those working in the industry
- To co-operate with other bodies on matters of common concern
- Encouragement about improvement of private and public grounds
