This society has expanded work horizon from dialogue to exchange of ideas. The main objective is to promote the dialogue and speech culture amongs the NTU students. Debates and speech competitions remains the focus of interest of this society. On the modern aspect and to cover the global chapter, the Model United Nations incorporates with this society. It holds the session of debate with fellow students on inside and across the border issues. It chases the talent hunt of students and then knowledge stretch out to cover the fields of politics, economics, entertainment, science and technology.
This society committed to spreading confidence, unlock the free speech and engagement within students. Every one is welcome to get involved.
Aims and Objectives
Our objective is to offer a challenging and rewarding debate experience to highly motivated and hardworking undergraduates. We aim to teach top-notch critical and strategic thinking skills, high quality research and argument production, and to teach articulate leaders for the next generation. These pedagogical objectives subsequently produce competitive debate teams. We seek to create a teamwork environment where students learn to work both for their own improvement and success of their peers. Yes! In fact we encourage students to diversify their co-curricular experience and thus uphold our motto “Courage to Speak”.
