A guidance session by HEC was held at National Textile University on May 13, 2024 regarding the topics “Open and Distance Learning” (ODL) and the “Use of Generative AI tools in Higher Education”. The resource person was Mr. Tanveer Ahmed, consultant HEC, who shared a comprehensive presentation on the topics. He first discussed in detail the various aspects of the ODL model and its implementation. Also, the implications of using of AI tools in Higher Education were discussed. The session was chaired by Rector NTU and attended by the Deans, senior faculty members, officials from IT and Quality Enhancement Cell.
