The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of National Textile University (NTU) conducted a one-day training session on November 6, 2024, for newly inducted regular and visiting faculty. This training focused on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), a widely recognized pedagogical approach that emphasizes aligning course content, teaching methods, and assessment strategies with clearly defined learning outcomes.
The Resource Person was Dr. Syed Talha Hamdani, Associate Professor at the School of Engineering & Technology at NTU. Dr. Hamdani shared his expertise on implementing OBE and described the Levels of the Bloom’s Taxonomy to foster engaging learning environment and effective assessment. At conclusion of the session Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Dean QEC, shared his remarks regarding the impact and effectiveness of the training and delivered the vote of thanks to all participants and presented certificate of appreciation to Dr. Hamdani for delivering an excellent training session.
