QEC-NTU Hosts 2nd Meeting on Institutional Performance Report (IPR)


The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at National Textile University (NTU) successfully conducted the 2nd Meeting on the Preparation of the Institutional Performance Report (IPR) on April 21, 2025, in the NTU Meeting Room.

The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) and Convener of the IPR Committee. The meeting aimed to review departmental progress on IPR development and strengthen coordination across academic and administrative units to ensure the timely submission of a comprehensive report.

Mr. Muhammad Naeem, QEC Coordinator and Lecturer in Computer Science, delivered a detailed presentation on the EOIs submitted by various departments. He highlighted the key performance indicators (KPIs), challenges faced in data compilation, and proposed strategies for aligning departmental input with HEC’s Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) framework.

Participants included departmental IPR focal persons, administrative representatives, and members of the QEC team. The interactive session provided a platform for knowledge sharing, clarifying reporting standards, and refining the methodology for performance assessment.

This meeting marked a significant step forward in NTU’s ongoing commitment to enhancing quality assurance mechanisms and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The collaborative atmosphere and active engagement reflected the university’s dedication to institutional transparency and performance excellence.
