HEC Quality Assurance Division Conducts PQR Training Session for Focal Persons


The Quality Assurance Division of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) organized a one-day training session May 14, 2025 on the Pakistan Qualification Register (PQR) at the HEC Regional Center, Lahore. The session was specifically designed for the PQR Focal Persons from various higher education institutions to enhance their understanding and skills in managing and updating university program data.

Representatives from the National Textile University (NTU), including Mr. Muhammad Haroon, Assistant Director QEC, and Syed Arshad Abbas, Data Analyst participated in the training. The session aimed to streamline institutional data on the PQR portal and ensure accuracy and completeness, aligning with HEC's commitment to maintaining high standards of quality assurance in higher education.

The training covered key components of PQR data submission, validation procedures, and best practices for maintaining up-to-date academic records. A Q&A session was held at the end, allowing participants to clarify their queries and engage in constructive dialogue with HEC officials.

This initiative reflects HEC's continued efforts to strengthen the quality assurance framework and support higher education institutions in achieving academic excellence.
