Vision
The society’s vision is “to integrate Sustainable Development Goals in learning and teaching process and adapt SDGs as the guiding framework for strategy delivering of social, economic and environmental development in general and sustainable progress of university in particular.
Mission
- Enable the students to contribute in transforming knowledge and build the tools that the SDGs will require.
- Introduce the exceptional role of NTU in achieving SDGs through research, teaching, innovations, trainings as well as collaboration with community leadership.
- Provide platform for multi-stakeholder partnerships to integrate humanitarian action into SDGs.
Objectives
- To make the students of NTU understand and address the SDGs.
- Empowering and mobilize students to implement SDGs solutions through enhancing their capacity building and diversification and innovative ideas in research.
- Strengthen the culture of university to implement the principles of SDGs through stable structure and policies relating to employment, campus and support services, finance, facilities, healthy environment, effective utilization of human resources and student administration.
- Ensure participation of NTU with local, national and international stakeholders in addressing and implementing SDGs.
Monitoring, evaluating and communicating university actions on the SDGs to identify priorities, opportunities and gaps.
