History of NTU
National Textile University (NTU) is the premier institution of textile education in Pakistan. It was formerly known as National College of Textile Engineering affiliated with University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore since 1976. On November 15, 2002 upgraded the college to National Textile University (NTU).
City Traffic Police Faisalabad Education Unit is being work since 2007 to enhance the road using sense in General Public of Pakistan and All third world countries which are developing into modern countries City Traffic Police Faisalabad is committed to excellence in Traffic Management, highest standards of integrity and courtesy.Its headquarters are inFaisalabad.

- Minimize the Causes of accident by Educating and sensitizing the Road Users About Valued Human lives
To make awareness campaigns successful, Education Unit of City Traffic Police Faisalabad write letter to all universities of Faisalabad and request to make Societies to give the awareness about Road Safety.
Road Safety Club NTU, founded in 2016, is the one and the only society of National Textile University (NTU) which promotes awareness about roads safety through seminars, events, awareness walk and workshop.
In past, Road Safety Club NTU did following event successfully i.e.
Road Safety Awareness: Road Safety Club NTU conducted a seminar with collaboration of Education Unit of City Traffic Warden Police Faisalabadon 4th April 2017 at NTU Main Hall. The objectives of this seminar were to give students awareness about Road Safety. Guest Speakers: Waqas Ali Warraich (Senior Office of Unit Education) and Baqar Ali (Office of Unit Education).
Session on Road Safety:Road Safety Club NTUorganized a session on Road Safety Awarenessin collaboration with Team of Education Unit of National Highways & Motorway Policeon 20thOctober 2017 at NTU Main Hall. The objectives of this session were to minimize the Causes of accident by Educating and sensitizing the Road Users About Valued Human lives. Guest Speakers:SPO Rana Irfan Ahmad (Road Safety Officer, National Highways & Motorway Police) and APO Javed Iqbal (Mobile Education Unit). DSP/CPO Qalab Abbas Sipra.
Aim of Road Safety Club NTU
We are working to familiarize the students of National Textile University with the Importance of Safety on Road. We are also building a beneficial harmony with the safety organizations. We believe that this relation will help in reducing the road accidents and to create a safe & sound society. We believe in team work that will lead to personal grooming of students. We strongly believe in “Road Safety-First Preference” and that’s our official slogan.
