The NTU and Zwick Roell, Germany have established a demo lab at NTU, to meet needs of technical textiles and polymer industry of Pakistan. The inauguration ceremony was held on 27 March 2017 by Miss Christine Duebler and Mian Muhammad Latif. An MoU was also signed to further enhance this collaboration between both the organisations. The Testing facilities available in this lab include:

- Universal  Testing Machine

  Tensile, Flexural (3, 4 point), Compression and Shear test

- Pendulum Impact tester

- Drop weight Impact tester*

-Hardness Tester (Barcol and Shore hardness)*

-Fatigue Testing Machine*

-Melt flow indexer*

-HDT/Vicat tester*

* Equipment expected to arrive by June 2017
