A workshop for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) was arranged in collaboration with Pakistan Engineering Council, for Professional Engineers, Instructors, Lab Engineers, and Students on Smart Materials: The Materials of Future. 

Keeping in point of view the vast research being conducted on Materials Science, on other hand, textile expertise of National Textile University, the workshop was exclusively designed for faculty members with no background of Material Science or Materials Engineering. Dr. Talha Hamdani served as a resource person for this workshop.
