The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of National Textile University (NTU) organized a training workshop on “Preparation of Self-Assessment Report (SAR)” on November         28, 2024 at Video Conference Room, IT Center NTU. The workshop was attended by Program Teams and QEC members and from both the Main Campus and Karachi Campus of NTU. Mr. Muhammad Haroon, Assistant Director of QEC, was the resource person for the session. He delivered an insightful and detailed presentation on the significance and preparation process of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) based on Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) according to the Revamped Quality Framework of Higher Education Commission (HEC).

The session provided a comparative analysis and thorough understanding of the role of SAR and PREE in ensuring academic quality and institutional accountability. At the conclusion of the workshop Mr. Haroon addressed all the questions raised by the participants, ensuring clarity on various aspects of the SAR preparation process.
