The opening ceremony of the Inter-Departmental Football Championship 2025 was held at the Football ground of the National Textile University on February 10,2025. Dr Sajjad Ahmad Baig (Dean Faisalabad Business School) inaugurated the event. The first match of the Championship was played between teams from the Department of Textile Engineering Technology (TET) and the Department of Polymer Engineering. The Department of Polymer Engineering (PE) won the match by 4-1. Dr. Abdul Basit (Associate Professor, SET), Dr. Muhammad Hashim (Associate Professor, FBS), Dr. Zahid Hussain (Assistant professor, FBS), Mr. Imran Ali (Sports Officer), and Pervaiz Akhtar, (Sports Officer) were also present during the event.
