Seminar on Counter Narcotics Campaign


The NTU-PMYDC Character-Building Society (CBS) in collaboration with the Blood Donation & Health Care Society (BD&HS) of National Textile University, Faisalabad, organized a highly informative “Seminar on Counter Narcotics Campaign” on October 29, 2025, at the NTU Main Hall. The seminar aimed to raise awareness among the students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of developing strong moral and character values to resist peer pressure and addiction.

The honorable Guest Speakers for the session were Mr. Muhamamd Nawaz Natt (Assistant Director/Incharge, ANF Faisalabad), Mr. Nauman Ghous (Inspector/SHO, ANF Faisalabad), and          Mr. Rana Naveed Shehzad (Advocate, High Court Lahore). The speakers shared valuable insights on the rising challenges of narcotics in society, their legal consequences, and the collective role of youth in combating this menace. Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Natt emphasized the significance of awareness and education in preventing drug use among the youth. He highlighted that students, as the future leaders of Pakistan, must take a firm stand against all forms of substance abuse. Mr. Nauman Ghous discussed the operational efforts of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in curbing drug trafficking and misuse, while Mr. Rana Naveed Shehzad focused on the legal and moral responsibilities of citizens in maintaining a drug-free society.

The event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of moral strength, ethical awareness, and community collaboration in shaping a healthier, drug-free society.
