The NTU-YDC Visual Arts Society, School of Art and Design at National Textile University, organised a film screening session in collaboration with the Faisalabad Film Society. The event, held on 3^rd January 2025, showcased two thought-provoking films: "Cinderella" by Iranian filmmaker Mahdi Aghajani and "Ankel Bells" by Hamza Munir, a proud alumnus of NTU's School of Art and Design.

This film screening session aimed to provide a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their work. It was done to foster a culture of film appreciation and critical thinking among students and faculty. The event was done to strengthen the collaboration between the Visual Arts Society and the Faisalabad Film Society to promote film-related activities in Faisalabad

The Visual Arts Society and the Faisalabad Film Society have been working together to establish a vibrant film culture in Faisalabad. This partnership aims to create opportunities for film enthusiasts, provide a platform for local filmmakers, and promote film education and appreciation in the region.

The event was graced by two esteemed chief guests: Mr. Ahsan Syed, a renowned creative head and CEO of BlueBox sol production house in Lahore, and Mr. Hassan, founder of the Faisalabad Film Society and a filmmaker himself. Their presence added valuable insights and inspiration to the attendees.
