On October 27, 2025, the Media Club and Photography Society of National Textile University (NTU) organized a Black Day Kashmir Walk to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir and condemn the illegal occupation of Jammu & Kashmir.

Students and faculty participated in the walk carrying banners and chanting slogans in support of Kashmir’s right to self-determination. The walk was led by Dr. Shahzad Iqbal, Mr. Farooq Jamal, Ms. Nadia Shamim (Assistant Director Student Affairs), Mr. Waseem (Deputy Registrar), and Mr. Naeem (Security Incharge), representing the NTU community’s unity with the Kashmiri people.

The walk concluded with prayers for peace, freedom, and justice for the people of Kashmir.
