Visual Arts Students Explore Lahore’s Cultural Heritage on Study Tour


The students of the Visual Arts program, under the supervision of Visual Arts Society, organized an educational study tour to Lahore, offering participants an opportunity to explore the city’s historical and artistic landmarks.

During the tour, students visited the Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Fort, where they observed and studied the intricate Mughal architecture, design elements, and the artistic heritage that define these iconic monuments. The visit served as valuable learning experiences, enhancing students’ understanding of art history, architectural form, and cultural symbolism.

The trip also served as an opportunity to attended the Triennale, a major art event held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. The exhibition featured a wide range of contemporary artworks and installations, providing students with exposure to diverse creative practices and modern artistic trends.

The study tour successfully combined historical exploration with contemporary art engagement, allowing students to connect their academic learning with real-world artistic experiences.
