A two-member delegation comprising Ms. Caroline Vanessa Elizabeth Montgomery, First Secretary, British Council, Islamabad, and Ms. Sabiha Tamanna Ahmad, First Secretary visited the National Textile University, Faisalabad today.

The delegation visited the National Textile Research Center where they were briefed in detail about the advanced research being carried out in the textile sector. The delegation also showed keen interest in various laboratories and departments of the university.

Later, the delegation held a special meeting with the Rector / Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood in his office. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding academic cooperation between the UK and National Textile University, joint research projects and student exchange programs.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the academic and research achievements and international linkages of the university. The delegation appreciated the performance of the university.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ahmad, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Ahsan Nazir, Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan and Sardar Pervaiz Akhtar, PRO were also present.
