The first meeting of the Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) of NTU was held on 29th Jan 2025 at the Video Conference Room, NTU. The meeting was chaired by the Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain, Dean QEC & Deputy Chairman IQC, who warmly welcomed all participants. Mr. Muhammad Haroon, Assistant Director QEC, gave a detailed presentation regarding the role and functions of IQC for the Institutional Self-Assessment. The presentation also included overview of PSG-2023, the Higher Education Commission (HEC)’s new framework for Quality Assurance and its implementation for Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE). The primary focus of the meeting was to elaborate the role and responsibilities of IQC and seek approval of both the ‘preparation and follow-up committees’ who would subsequently play their role in completion of Institutional Performance Report (IPR) in accordance with guidelines provided by HEC.
