NTU Successfully Conducts Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE-2025)


National Textile University (NTU) continues its journey towards academic excellence and institutional transparency by successfully conducting the Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE) 2025, in line with the requirements of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

RIPE is a comprehensive evaluation mechanism designed to assess institutional adherence to quality assurance standards, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and promote a culture of continuous enhancement in higher education institutions.

The RIPE 2025 exercise at NTU was conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Asim Mansha, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) and Professor of Chemistry at Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), who served as the External Reviewer and Team Lead. The review committee comprised esteemed academic professionals from within NTU, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Hussain, Professor and Dean, School of Science, Member, NTU, Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Baig, Associate Professor and Director, Faisalabad Business School, Member, Dr. Muhammad Asif, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, Member, Dr. Zafar Javed, Assistant Professor, School of Arts and Design, Member.

The review process included detailed evaluation sessions, during which various departmental heads and administrative officers were invited for a comprehensive Question & Answer session. The committee raised queries specific to each department’s performance, seeking clarification and insights based on the submitted self-assessment report. This interactive session served as a platform for open dialogue, reflection, and constructive feedback.

The successful execution of RIPE 2025 marks a significant step forward in NTU’s commitment to institutional accountability, academic quality, and operational excellence. It reflects the university’s proactive approach in aligning with HEC's quality assurance framework and its dedication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
