Ms. Aroobah Mumtaz , the faculty member of School of Arts and Design,  was invited as resource person for a workshop at the Department of Art and Design UAF. The one-day workshop titled "Creative Approaches in Textile Design," was designed to inspire students to think beyond conventional methods and explore the artistic potential of textile materials. She led the students through a series of interactive discussions and activities focused on surface design, embellishment work and experimental textile techniques. The workshop culminated in a display of SOAD students’ work, reflecting their creative interpretations and skills. The pieces showcased a diverse mix of techniques and personal expression, highlighting the workshop’s impact.

Through such initiatives, the School of Arts and Design continues to bridge the gap between academic learning and hands-on creative experience, nurturing the next generation of innovative designers.
