The National Textile University (NTU) cricket team called on Rector Professor Dr Muhammad Rashid Masood prior to their participation in the Higher Education Commission’s Inter-Universities Cricket Championship (Zone I), currently underway at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad.

During the meeting, Dr Rashid Masood encouraged the players to exhibit passion on the field and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship at all times. He remarked that sports not only contribute to physical well-being but also serve as a vital tool for character building and nurturing leadership skills.

The meeting was also attended by Dr Zulfiqar Ali Raza, Dr Naseer Ahmad, Mian Adeel, Sports Officer Imran Ali, Sajid Anwar, and Public Relations Officer Sardar Pervez Akhtar.

The university administration extended its best wishes to the team for success in the championship. NTU is set to participate enthusiastically in the event.
